Installing SPE Free #

From WordPress.org #

1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New
2. Search for “Smart Product Emails”
3. Find the plugin and click Install Now
4. Click Activate
5. Go to WooCommerce → SPE Messages to start creating

Manual Installation #

1. Download the plugin from WordPress.org
2. In WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
3. Choose the downloaded ZIP file
4. Click Install Now, then Activate

Installing SPE PRO #

Download and Install #

1. Log in to your account at smartproductemails.com/my-account
2. Go to Downloads and download the latest version
3. In WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
4. Choose the smart-product-emails-pro.zip file
5. Click Install Now, then Activate

Activate Your License #

1. After activation, go to WooCommerce → SPE PRO → License
2. Enter your license key (found in your purchase email or My Account)
3. Click Activate License
4. You should see a green “Active” status

Note: If you have the Free version installed, you can deactivate it after installing PRO. Your existing SPE Messages will be preserved.

Verifying Installation #

After installation, verify everything is working:

1. Go to WooCommerce → SPE Messages (or SPE PRO)
2. You should see the message management interface
3. Try creating a test message
4. Assign it to a product
5. Place a test order to verify the message appears
