What’s Limited in SPE Free #

1. Order Status: Processing Only #

In the Free version, SPE Messages only appear in Processing order status emails.

What this means:

  • When an order moves to “Processing” status, your message appears
  • Messages do NOT appear in other statuses (On-Hold, Completed, Refunded)

When Processing emails are sent:

  • After successful payment for most payment methods
  • When you manually change an order to Processing

2. One Message Per Product #

Each product can only have one SPE Message assigned.

What this means:

  • You cannot assign different messages for different scenarios
  • If you need multiple messages, you’d need to combine them into one

Workaround: Create a comprehensive single message that covers all the information you want to share.

What’s NOT Limited #

Even in the Free version, you can:

  • ✅ Create unlimited SPE Messages
  • ✅ Use the full content editor with formatting
  • ✅ Add images and links to messages
  • ✅ Use all dynamic content tags
  • ✅ Assign messages to any number of products

When to Upgrade to PRO #

Consider upgrading if you need:

  • Multiple order statuses — Send different messages when orders are on-hold, completed, or refunded
  • Multiple messages per product — Assign several messages to one product
  • Status-specific content — Different care instructions vs. shipping information
  • Priority support — Get help faster when you need it
